If you are stressed out about what to bring or what is needed to ensure your Disney trip is as magical as can be, this visual guide has got you covered! I personally would rather look at pictures than read hence why this is a visual only guide. All items I personally have purchased for my own family Disney trip, some are even Disney themed to add to the magic!
(Products listed below are personally tested by myself and family, some may include affiliate links at no additional cost to you)
A good rain poncho is a necessity as the weather can be unpredictable in Florida, especially during the summer and hurricane season. Plus this one features Minnie and Mickey!
No one wants to pay 5$ for a bottle of water, instead bring a refillable tumbler and ask for a cup of water (free) at any Disney park eatery to refill your cup. We prefer ones with straws but the tumblers to the right do come with two types of lids!
It gets HOT in Orlando, to cool off I always bring this rechargeable fan. It features 3 speed settings and a cute night light, also is rechargeable via USB. You can't beat the Mickey ears too!
You will be toting a lot so you will want a comfortable bag or backpack. I personally love this Disney diaper bag even though my son is out of diapers just for the extra pockets and bottle holders on the sides. I cannot stand rummaging in a bag for what I need, especially in line at Disney so this helps me keep everything organized with all the storage pockets.
Of course no Disney trip would be complete without a set of Mickey or Minnie ears! I personally purchased these beforehand for myself because they come in a set of 2 for versatility and you cannot beat the price! Disney on a budget y'all! There are more varieties also to choose from but all are equally adorable!
Between taking photos, videos and utilizing the My Disney Experience app you will drain your phone battery pretty quick. On the plus side you are in Florida where sun is ample, this power bank utilizes the sun via it's solar panel and can charge two devices at a time! I pop it on the top of my stroller to keep it charged and we recharge our phones as needed. Then you never have to remember to charge it! This is the one time I am thankful for the unforgiving sun!
I don't know about you but I want to be as comfortable as possible when enjoying Disney. Thigh chafing can happen to anyone and these bike shorts help prevent that from happening, plus there's pockets! These are non see through, moisture wicking, breathable and quick drying, basically everything you need for Disney in a pair of bike shorts. Did we mention 2 pockets?! Also available in a variety of colors to complete your outfit. I can attest these are amazing! I own multiple colors!
With all the walking involved you may find some blisters on your feet even with the best of shoes. Moleskin padding is a great barrier for your feet to prevent blisters from forming. Just cut the roll to the size needed, peel and stick where your shoes rub the most, think heels, sides of toes and feet. It's always easier to prevent blisters (and less painful) than to deal with them later, especially when you have a theme park to tackle each day.
We load up on the sunscreen because a sunburn can make you miserable. We have always used Banana Boat sport without any issues. This particular sunscreen protects against 99% of UVA/UVB rays and is sweat/waterproof for up to 80 minutes, reapply as needed!
To help keep us cool we always bring some cooling towels (the ones at the parks are $$) and we would rather be prepared. Just wet, wring out the excess and snap to activate the cooling technology. Made from chemical free polyester blend and machine washable these are a MUST HAVE to keep you cool as you trek around the parks.
